Team registration opens for the 2026–2027 season. Teams purchase team numbers through Destination Imagination and register through the official DI registration portal--registeryourteam.org
Sep 2026-feb 2027
Team Preparation
Teams work on their Challenge solutions and practice Instant Challenges. Attend training workshops and scrimmages.
Feb & Mar 2027
Regional Tournaments
Teams compete at one of Nebraska's Regional Tournaments. Top teams advance to Affiliate Finals.

Affiliate Finals
Nebraska's top teams compete at the Affiliate Finals. Winners earn the right to represent Nebraska at Global Finals.

Global Finals
Nebraska's best teams travel to compete against teams from around the world at Global Finals held in Kansas City, MO

Affiliate Finals
The Affiliate Finals is Nebraska's state-level championship tournament. Teams that place in the top positions at their Regional Tournament advance to compete here. Winners in each challenge level earn the right to represent Nebraska at Global Finals.

The Affiliate Finals Tournament is the pinnacle of the Nebraska DI season. Teams that earn their spot here have demonstrated exceptional creativity, teamwork, and problem-solving at their Regional Tournament.

Global Finals is the world championship of Destination Imagination, bringing together tens of thousands of participants from over 30 countries. Nebraska teams that win at Affiliate Finals earn the honor of representing our state on the world stage.
